Jørgensens Hotel

Jylland, Horsens · Denmark · Hotell · Scare 3/5

Anders Jørgensen's daughter lived here until her death — and she stayed. She smashes vases when her room is rented to others.

The beautiful house in Horsens was built in 1744 and purchased in 1843 by Anders Jørgensen, who gave the hotel his name. He died in 1860 and left behind a daughter who remained at the hotel until her own death. She never checked out.

The fine lady tried for a long time to be invisible. She was content to play tricks on the maids and move things in the Royal Suite. But when the hotel once rented her mother's room to a gentleman, she had enough and knocked over two fine vases that shattered on the floor. Today she walks the corridors at night — guests describe light feminine footsteps on the stairs and door handles turning without anyone visible on the other side.
